True Strength

Here Jadyn executes a  Back Squat, one of the three Powerlifts.  Crossfit targets all ten meaurable aspects of fitness and leaves out none.  Strength is  one of them but it’s vital to one’s overall fitness capacity.  To learn more see “what is Crossfit” above.

Crossfit is for Everyone

Although Crossfit is intesity training at its core, its also “scaleable” meaning it can be tailored for you regardless of your age or fitness level.  At Crossfit Okanagan we are widely experience in training all ages including seniors and youth. We also have conditioning classes available for teams or groups of any size.

cali-trip-145We have started a new season of beginner classes, so for newcomers we can slot you into class times that suit your needs. So far this year we have already built our clientelle base as well as updated the current gym by adding some cosmetic touches.

Olympic Lifting

Olympic lifting certification seminar in September in Victoria.  Coach B. and I enjoying the  morning views from the hotel, and a shot of the class. The two Olympic lifts, (the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk) are fundamental aspects of Crossfit, because they each always  require Strength, Speed, Power, Accuracy, Agility, Balance, Coordianation, and Flexibility. Furthermore, if mixed into a particular WOD (workout of the day) they can also target Endurance and Stamina. THESE ARE THE TEN MEASURABLE ELEMENTS OF FITNESS.
