What Is Crossfit?

Crossfit is the most comprehensive training method that is designed to achieve maximum fitness levels.

The Crossfit method implements functional movements performed at high intensity that combines, but is not limited to: military style intensity, gymnastics, Olympic and power lifting. The WOD’s (Workout of the Day) is always varied, and our specialty is not specializing.

It targets all aspects of fitness including cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy.

Because Crossfit is based on functional movements, the need for typical gym equipment and machinery is eliminated. In Fact, one can have a fully operational Crossfit facility with little more than a pull-up bar, a set of Olympic weights, a jump rope, a medicine ball, gymnast rings, and some open space.

Crossfit utilizes the same, correct movements that are scalable and universal. We train Law enforcement, Military, Firefighters, homemakers, senior citizens, Athletes at all levels including high school, professional sports and Olympic. The program varies by load and intensity, not by kind. This is why our seniors and youngsters are using the same program as our top Crossfitters.

It has been proven that our top Crossfit athletes when comparing to other training regimens can, on the average out perform any non-crossfitter in any functional physical capability test.

This is a grass-roots, worldwide movement that is based on results. It’s challenging, fun, brings self confidence, longevity and inspiration to others.
